His ivory relief depicting the adoration of the Magi after an engraving by Carlo Maratta in the Germanic National Museum in Nuremberg (inv. no. Pl.O.2967) is comparable to the present work in numerous details, although the overall composition has been converted from portrait to landscape format. Crack in the upper left corner of the surround and two repairs to the right of it.
